This ceramic bowl is handmade on the potters wheel and glazed with a transparent glaze, showing the natural colour of the clay. On the inside there's a zen circle painted with brown glaze.
A Zen circle (ensō) is a hand-drawn circle made in one brushstroke. It symbolizes wholeness, balance, and the beauty of imperfection. Often drawn in a moment of stillness, it reflects mindfulness and the artist’s state of mind. Open or closed, each circle is unique, just like each moment in life.
