Placenta Sculpture : Made to Order

This sculpture is a ceramic cast of my own placenta, the organ that nourished and protected my child during pregnancy. What once existed only temporarily inside the body has been transformed into a lasting piece of art.

Each piece is carefully handmade in ceramic using the original mold of my placenta. The result is an organic and powerful form that speaks about birth, connection and the hidden architecture of life.

This sculpture makes a meaningful piece for midwifery practices, doula studios, birth centers, or anyone drawn to the symbolism of birth and the human body.

Every sculpture is made individually, making each one slightly unique.
